Grades 9-12: Spanish Substitute Teacher/Full-Time: Seton High School, an all-girls Catholic high school founded by the Sisters of Charity, seeks a full-time Spanish substitute teacher to teach Spanish I and II starting Thursday, August 14^th through Friday, September 26^th. The candidate upholds and models a moral code consistent with the teachings of the catholic church, Sisters of Charity, the mission of Seton High School and catholic education.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with students and parents regarding assignments, grading and projects.
• Input grades in a timely manner into the Saint account.
• Proficient use of tablet technology and Google Classroom.
• Engage students in content and conduct meaningful class discussions.
• Assess students’ knowledge fairly and accurately.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Spanish
• Ohio substitute or teaching license
• Proficient knowledge of content area and curriculum
• Effective communication skills

Grades 9-12: Math Teacher/Full-Time: Roger Bacon High School, a Catholic Franciscan high school committed to academic excellence and holistic student development, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will teach Algebra I, Algebra II, and Statistics, with the ability to teach AP Statistics being a highly desirable plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons in Algebra I, Algebra II, and Statistics that align with state and school curriculum standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and ensure student mastery of mathematical concepts.
• Develop and administer assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Incorporate technology, project-based learning, and real-world applications into lessons to enhance student understanding.
• Maintain an organized, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and mutual respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Math Department to ensure consistency and innovation in curriculum delivery.
• Provide students with academic support through tutoring, office hours, or intervention strategies as needed.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and administration regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
• Uphold the mission, values, and Catholic Franciscan traditions of Roger Bacon High School.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid Ohio teaching license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience teaching high school math, particularly Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Statistics.
• Experience or certification in AP Statistics is highly preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• Commitment to fostering students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administration.
• Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities, mentoring, or coaching is a plus.
