Preschool: Classroom Aide/Full-Time: Corryville Catholic is seeking a full-time Preschool Classroom Aide who is warm, reliable, and passionate about early childhood development. The aide will work closely with the lead teacher to support instruction, supervise students, and create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with implementing daily routines and instructional activities
- Supervise students during classroom time, lunch, recess, and transitions
- Help maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and materials preparation
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as needed
- Foster positive relationships and reinforce social-emotional development
- Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or coursework in early childhood education preferred
- Experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 3–5) highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and a calm, caring presence
- Ability to follow directions, multitask, and contribute to a team-centered classroom
- Commitment to the mission and values of Corryville Catholic School
