Position Summary: Support the mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur through the discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual gifts, major gifts and planned gifts. Reporting to the Director of Mission Advancement, the Associate Director of Development will manage a portfolio of approximately 150 prospects, manage direct mail and planned giving programs, develop plans for annual events and work collaboratively, in a team style. The Associate Director will serve as Ex officio member of the Development Advisory Board. Participates in the planning of the overall Mission Advancement program. Purpose Assists manager and other kitchen staff in food preparation, kitchen clean up, cafeteria set up, cleaning and dishwashing

General Duties and Responsibilities

· Assists with food preparation as needed

· Fixes beverages, salads, sandwiches, snacks and simple desserts

· Assists with setting up the serving line

· Sets up garbage containers and utensil pans for self-bussing after the meal

· Serves as dining hall steward

· Washes dishes and pots and pans after the meal

· Operates the dishwasher

· Cleans and secures the dining area

· Sweeps and mops walk-ins, kitchen, refrigerator and dish washer rooms

· Responsible for checking in and putting away orders and deliveries in storeroom and freezer on days needed

· Responsible for heavy cleaning, including ovens, stoves and grills, when needed

· Performs other duties as required

Skills, Knowledge, and/or Abilities (SKA)

· Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds

· Must be able to mop, bend, stoop, stand and perform basic cleaning

· Ability to perform basic cooking

Overview
Reporting to the principal, the administrative assistant supports the school’s day-to-day operations of the main office. The role involves managing a variety of administrative tasks from answering phones to coordinating events, maintaining student records, and reporting, and assisting staff and faculty. Prior experience in administrative support, especially in an educational setting, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Communication & Visitor Management

Be the “first face” of Bishop Fenwick HS. Greet and assist visitors to the Main Office in answering their questions or finding their destinations. Support internal communications with staff and faculty. Must have strong communication skills and high aptitude for proper grammar in both speaking and writing.

 Support Student Daily Activities, Record-keeping, and Reporting
Monitor and update records for student attendance including daily messages, tardies and dismissals. Manage substitute teacher coordination, including contact, scheduling, paperwork, and record faculty/staff attendance in the database. Complete student-related forms (e.g., work permits, insurance discount forms, enrollment verifications).

Scheduling & Coordination including Calendar Maintenance
Help coordinate and manage the school’s internal calendar. Coordinate and track student schedules in collaboration with the assistant principal and counselors. Track and update the calendar, help coordinate facility use with staff and faculty, order meals, and set up meeting spaces for faculty, staff, or student events. Assist in planning and organizing special events (e.g., graduation).
