Position Summary

Corryville Catholic School is seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute Teacher to serve in an elementary classroom from August 2026 through early October 2026. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction, maintain continuity of learning, foster a positive classroom environment, and support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth during the teacher’s leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed educator, recent graduate, retired teacher, or aspiring educator seeking meaningful classroom experience in a supportive school community.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily instruction aligned with school curriculum and provided lesson plans.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Ability to work effectively with elementary-aged students.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

Preferred

  • Valid Ohio Teaching License.
  • Previous elementary teaching or substitute teaching experience.
  • Experience working in diverse educational settings.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based literacy and mathematics instructional practices.
  • Support for the mission and values of Catholic education.

Divine Mercy Family of Parishes is seeking a full-time Custodial Maintenance Associate to support the daily care and upkeep of our parish and school facilities across multiple campuses.

This hands-on position includes custodial services, general building and grounds maintenance, preventative maintenance, event set-up and tear-down, troubleshooting common facility and equipment issues, and responding to maintenance and service requests. The Associate will also work with staff, parishioners, vendors, and contractors to help maintain safe, clean, operational, and well-maintained facilities.

Candidates should be dependable, organized, able to work independently and as part of a team, and able to prioritize and complete requests in a timely manner. General maintenance, custodial, facilities, or related experience is helpful. A high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license are required.

This is a full-time, year-round position. Some evening, weekend, emergency, or on-call availability may be required.
