Position Overview:
The Preschool Classroom Aide will support our classroom teachers in providing a safe, caring, and enriching environment for preschool-aged children. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a positive impact in their early development.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist the lead teachers in classroom activities and routines
● Support children during playtime, group activities, and learning sessions
● Help with classroom organization and maintaining a clean, organized learning space
● Provide one-on-one support to children as needed
● Supervise children during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times
● Assist in managing classroom materials, ensuring that educational resources are
available, prepared and well-maintained
● Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe classroom environment

Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred)
● Previous experience working with children, especially in a preschool or daycare setting, is a plus
● A passion for working with young children and fostering a positive, inclusive environment
● Strong communication and teamwork skills
● Ability to be patient, nurturing, and adaptable
● Ability to pass a background check
