Grade 7-8: Teacher/Full-Time: Our Lady of the Visitation is seeking an enthusiastic, hard working middle school teacher who models our Catholic faith and values. The position is full-time and will include teaching ELA and Religion. We are a suburban school in a close community on the west side of Cincinnati with great parental support. The candidate will need to have a foundation in middle school curriculum, classroom management, communication and be a strong part of a team. This position involves the use of technology and building a rigorous curriculum based on the standards. Candidates must hold a valid Ohio license, be fingerprinted, undergo a background check, and meet all requirements of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati prior to starting the position.

Duties:
-Exemplify the morals and teachings of the Catholic faith.
-Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
-Utilize learning technology effectively to enhance instructional delivery and student interaction.
-Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations, providing feedback and support as needed.
-Collaborate with colleagues in education administration to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students.
-Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, and active participation from all students.
-Engage in lesson planning, ensuring that all materials are prepared in advance for effective instruction.
-Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and innovations.

Experience:
-A degree in Education or a related field is required; must be licensed in Ohio.
-Experience in a Catholic school setting is a plus.
-Familiarity with educational technology tools that enhance learning experiences is highly desirable.
-Previous tutoring or teaching experience, especially in ELA, and/or Religion is beneficial.
-Strong organizational skills, classroom management, and the ability to calculate student performance metrics effectively are essential for this role.

St Margaret of York Parish in Loveland, Ohio, is seeking a full time Director of Music.

This position includes planning and playing at the liturgies for weekends (there are 4 weekend liturgies), holy days, funerals, weddings, as well as the school liturgies during the week on Tuesday mornings (working in conjunction with the school music teacher). The Music Director also conducts choir rehearsals once a week during the evening and trains cantors. The adult choir sings at one of the Sunday Liturgies throughout the academic year.

This position requires strong piano and organ skills, as well as energetic and skilled choir direction. It also demands an understanding of and sensitivity to the Catholic liturgy, and a familiarization with both traditional and contemporary music. It requires a working knowledge of audio/visual software and basic sound board skills.

The candidate should be a Catholic in good standing, must become “Safe Parish” certified (Child Protection Plan), and able to work well as part of the parish pastoral team.

Salary will be based on experience, skill, and the Archdiocesan guidelines for full time employees. The parish also provides the Archdiocesan medical benefits package as well as a 401K.
