St. Charles Borromeo Parish is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform various routine and semi-skilled tasks related to facilities, maintenance, and general operations at their church and elementary school locations in Kettering, Ohio. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, grounds maintenance, and custodial services. The Maintenance Technician routinely operates small power tools, lawn and garden equipment, cleaning tools, and mechanic’s wrenches. The Technician must have a basic knowledge of standard office software. Additional training will be provided as needed to perform assigned tasks safely. The position reports to the parish Facilities & Maintenance Manager. Catholic teachings and traditions must be respected, but membership in a Catholic Community is not required.

Standard work hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30 am – 3:30 pm. Early morning and weekend hours are occasionally required. The pay range for the position is $21.45 – $37.45 per hour based on experience and includes medical and paid time off benefits.

The Our Lady of Light Family of Parishes, which includes the Church of the Incarnation and St. Francis campuses, is seeking a database manager. This is a full-time position. Those interested in this position will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Our Lady of Light Family parishioner database (currently eCatholic / Gabriel) and online calendar (currently CalendarWiz). The job requires a wide range of skills and abilities in database and calendar administration, reporting, and data analysis. Other responsibilities include managing the department’s donor services processes (receiving, data entry, thanking
and receipting all donations) and training others as needed.

Major responsibilities and essential functions include database management, data extraction and reporting, calendar administration and other administrative functions.

Provide administrative support and assistance to PASSPORT Care Managers, and keep Care Managers informed of updates/concerns related to the Care Managers PASSPORT individuals. This position will be responsible for contacting providers to obtain information necessary to best serve the individual, as well as ensuring all outstanding paperwork/provider information related to an individual’s health status is obtained in a timely manner.

Brief Description for PASSPORT Community Health Navigator:

Scans documents into the DocRecords system.
Answers phones in three rings most of the time in a professional and courteous manner with the call transferred to the proper person or voicemail with calls documented in appropriate electronic records as necessary.
Provide supportive services to PASSPORT staff (i.e. contact primary care physicians/hospitals/providers, contacting PASSPORT individuals as needed, completing follow up for Care Managers).
Complete Medicaid verifications.
Document missed visits into PIMS system.
Assist with on-call as needed.
Collateral contacts and coordination with other service providers are timely and appropriate.
Complete and data enter reports in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner.
Interact with clinical staff, consumers, and network providers by contacting and scheduling transportation for PASSPORT individuals.
Assure that individuals receive transportation as needed.
Follow up with Care Manager and Providers that individuals have received the service they require.
Assist individuals, Providers, and Clinical Staff in resolving transportation issues.
Maintain positive working relationships with providers, informal support, providers, community agencies, and medical professionals.
Provides coverage for other Community Health Navigator(s) if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma required.
At least 3 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to use a computer with substantial ease, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid preferred.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work with diverse populations.
Willingness to work some flexible hours.
Detail oriented.

The Associate Director of Children’s Evangelization (Associate Director) reports to the Managing Director of Evangelization and is a key member of the Youth Evangelization Team. The Associate Director accompanies children, grades PK-5, and their families, through a discipleship path, so that they encounter Jesus and become missionary disciples. The Associate Director is responsible for the overall running of the PreK-5 Discipleship Formation program, including the homeschool component.

The Associate Director should be a committed Catholic disciple with experience in creating and implementing content, comfortable and energetic in front of large groups of people, able to accompany children and parents along their journey of discipleship, and able to recruit, engage, and form other adults for the critical work of discipleship formation for children. The Coordinator of Youth Sacraments (Coordinator) reports to the Managing Director of Evangelization and is a key member of the Youth Evangelization Team.
