The NW-2 Family of Parishes including St Patrick – Glynwood, St Teresa – Rockford, Our Lady of Guadalupe- Montezuma, Holy Rosary-St Marys, Immaculate Conception-Celina, is seeking a Director of Evangelization. The Director of Evangelization is responsible for supervising and managing the Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams at NW-2 Family of Parishes. The Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams includes Coordinators and Youth Ministers for Youth (K-5), Youth (6-12), Adult Evangelization, and Marriage and Family Evangelization. The Evangelization and Faith Formation Teams are responsible for all efforts of accompanying youth, adults, and families through the Process of Evangelization so that the parish is creating missionary disciples.  The Director of Evangelization must be able to articulate and implement a clear vision/mission for Evangelization to parents, youth, staff, and parishioners.

 

Strongly prefer a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or related field, or commensurate ministry experience. Must have spiritual maturity, defined as a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church who is faithful to the Magisterium, consistent in one’s prayer life, regularly receiving the sacraments, and able to speak of one’s relationship with Jesus. Must have a broad understanding of and ability to articulate Church teaching regarding evangelization, catechesis, prayer, sacraments, and ecclesiology. Must have experience mentoring and accompanying adults at different stages of the discipleship path. Must be able to pray in front of and with others, to lead and participate in spontaneous prayer. Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people using the spoken word, both within one-on-one coaching/mentoring situations and in large group settings. The Director of Administration is a key member of the Family Leadership Team (FLT) and reports directly to the pastor.  The Director is responsible for effective administration and stewardship of the physical, financial, and human resources of the Family of Parishes (Family), supporting the pastor in his governance ministry.  The Director is to be aware of and manage to required Archdiocese standards and compliance requirements. The position serves all the 800 households in our family of parishes, plans and implements an annual budget for the entire family, and helps provide policies and procedures for a small number of staff and our four small church buildings and attached facilities and grounds. This is a full-time, 12 months position with benefits.

Director of Communications; The NW-2 Family of Parishes, including Holy Rosary, St Marys, St Patrick, Glynwood, Immaculate Conception, Celina, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Montezuma, and St Teresa, Rockford, seeks an experienced, organized Director of Communications to work as a member of the leadership team. A Degree or certification in marketing, communication, media studies, or other similar educational backgrounds, with experience delivering consistent branding and messaging across various channels both internal and external is preferred for this full time position. Primary responsibilities include producing the Weekly Church Bulletin, Weekly electronic newsletter, Maintain Parish Website. Candidate will work closely with the pastor and other staff and parish volunteers. Salary and benefits are in accord with archdiocesan standards.
