RL Resources: October 2026
This section is dedicated to providing seasonal resources for Parish Respect Life Coordinators If there is a resource that you believe would be useful to include, please contact us at [email protected].
1Â | Word of Life
This month’s WORD OF LIFE focuses on Respect Life Month through Mary the Mother of Life, and how her example calls us to step out in haste and help vulnerable mothers in need, those wounded by abortion, those approaching life’s end, and all those vulnerable and in need. As always, it includes bulletin quotes and images, and intercessions for life to be used each Sunday at your parish. Available in ENGLISH and SPANISH.
2 | Respect Life Fund Collection
Parishes across our archdiocese will be having a collection for the Respect Life Fund on Respect Life Sunday. First, please remind your pastor of this special annual collection on the weekend of October 3rd and 4th. This money goes to support the work of pro-life agencies like Pregnancy Care Centers right here in this Archdiocese, as well as our post-abortion ministry. Also, please put in your bulletins and over parish communications that everyone may donate any time throughout the month of October HERE. Thank you for your generosity!
3 | New resources on Respect Life store  Â
PRO-LIFE RESOURCES offers Catholic articles, prayers, educational materials, and parish resources that promote the dignity of every human life. Sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Committee on Pro-Life Activities, the site provides action opportunities, prayer guides, and support tools to help individuals and communities build a culture that cherishes and protects life at every stage.
4 | Participate in Synod 2027
Synod 2027 will be an engagement of our whole archdiocese to consider what the Holy Spirit may be asking of the Church of Cincinnati at this moment. The goal will be to discern needs and recommend pastoral priorities to Archbishop Casey.  By participating in a Conversations in the Spirit session, you will join others across our archdiocese in prayerfully considering what the Holy Spirit is asking of our Church at this time.
