This month’s WORD OF LIFE features NFP AWARENESS WEEK (see below). As always, it includes bulletin quotes and images, and intercessions for life to be used each Sunday at your parish. Available in ENGLISH and SPANISH.
2 | NFP Awareness Week
July 21-27 is NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING AWARENESS WEEK. The week highlights the anniversary of the papal encyclical Humanae Vitae (July 25) which articulates Catholic beliefs about human sexuality, conjugal love, and responsible parenthood. Posters, prayers, bulletin announcements and more about how to commemorate NFP Awareness Week in your parish can be found HERE.
3 | Memorial of Sts. Joachim and Anne
The Memorial of Saints Joachim and Anne, Parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is celebrated on July 26. They are powerful intercessors for married couples, expectant mothers, and married couples who are having difficulty conceiving, as well as people who are aging. Copies of the “Faith and Perseverance” novena to Saints Anne and Joachim are available in English and Spanish.
