This month’s WORD OF LIFE features a reflection on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a short reflection on our saint of the month, St. Maximilian Kolbe.  As always, it includes bulletin quotes and images, and intercessions for life to be used each Sunday at your parish. Available in ENGLISH and SPANISH.
2 |Â Respect Life Kits Sent to Pastors
Every pastor was mailed materials for Respect Life month. They received an email from Archbishop Casey, and the mailed kit included a letter from Bishop Thomas, chairman of the Committee on Pro-Life Activities, posters for each parish, and a link to the USCCB MATERIALS AVAILABLE for Respect Life Month.  The letter encourages the use of these materials, participation in the RESPECT LIFE FUND on Oct. 3-4, and in the OHIO MARCH FOR LIFE on Oct. 2.
3 | Participate in Synod 2027
Synod 2027 will be an engagement of our whole archdiocese to consider what the Holy Spirit may be asking of the Church of Cincinnati at this moment. The goal will be to discern needs and recommend pastoral priorities to Archbishop Casey.  By participating in a Conversations in the Spirit session, you will join others across our archdiocese in prayerfully considering what the Holy Spirit is asking of our Church at this time. 4 | Latest Being Pro Life Episode
Bob talks with Chris Tonnis and Gina Schrand on their work with the USCCB Ministry Walking with Moms in Need, and how they help supplement the work of pregnancy care centers to reach out to those who need a little help taking care of their children.
