Director of Development: St. Ursula Villa, an independent, coeducational Catholic elementary school in the Ursuline tradition, is in search of a part-time Director of Development. The Director of Development is responsible for the planning, organizing and implementation of the strategic direction for all the Villa’s fundraising including annual giving, major gifts, donor cultivation and recognition, sponsorship development, planned giving, grant writing, and the execution of capital campaign. The Director of Development’s primary focus is the ongoing stewardship and cultivation of parents, grandparents and alumni resulting in financial support for the school. This position reports directly to the President and is a member of St. Ursula Villa’s Administrative Team consisting of the President, Principal, Director of Operations, Director of Early Childhood, and Director of Admissions & Marketing.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to ongoing communication and relationship building of current and past donors and the identification/cultivation of prospective donors; overseeing the accuracy of the donor database and timeliness of all gift receipting, acknowledgements and pledge reminders; coordination of special event sponsorships; execution of annual giving campaign; grant research, proposal writing and reporting; and donor recognition programs and events. The Director of Development supervises and works collaboratively with the Special Events Coordinator to ensure the success of the annual auction and other fundraising events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years progressive experience in Development or related field
Must embrace the mission and values of St. Ursula Villa
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Proven ability in Microsoft Office Suite, Donor Perfect (or similar donor database)
A goal-driven, organized self-starter who embraces a teamwork environment

The Jesuit Spiritual Center, a Catholic retreat center, in Milford, Ohio seeks college graduates interested in pursuing ministry as part of the Ignite Missionary Program. This is a 1 – 2 year paid program working as a member of the Youth Ministry team. Missionaries live in an intentional faith community on the grounds of the Center in the renovated historic Rock House and receive health care, meals, and a personal stipend. They will develop skills in retreat ministry including planning, preparing, and facilitating youth retreats, leading small and large group activities. Missionaries will also have the opportunity to make the 19^th Annotation of the Spiritual Exercises, receive spiritual formation, attend professional conferences, receive private music lessons, and gain non-profit leadership and business experience.
