The Director of Development is responsible for annual fundraising, donor cultivation, volunteer management, and the implementation of a comprehensive special events program that engages various audiences and builds key relationships with donors, sponsors, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications include bachelor’s degree and three or more years of experience working as a director of development or in a role with demonstrated success securing funding from individual donors, conducting peer-to-peer fundraisers, and soliciting corporate sponsorships, identifying new donor prospects, building and maintaining relationships with donors, and writing and presenting grant and partnership proposals.

Compensation includes salary ($75k), insurance (medical, dental, vision, life), 401k, paid holidays, and paid time off.

The Jesuit Spiritual Center, a Catholic retreat center, in Milford, Ohio seeks college graduates interested in pursuing ministry as part of the Ignite Missionary Program. This is a 1 – 2 year paid program working as a member of the Youth Ministry team. Missionaries live in an intentional faith community on the grounds of the Center in the renovated historic Rock House and receive health care, meals, and a personal stipend. They will develop skills in retreat ministry including planning, preparing, and facilitating youth retreats, leading small and large group activities. Missionaries will also have the opportunity to make the 19th Annotation of the Spiritual Exercises, receive spiritual formation, attend professional conferences, receive private music lessons, and gain non-profit leadership and business experience. The Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford seeks an Associate Director of Youth Ministry to assist the Director with the preparation and implementation of all facets of youth
retreats. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the youth ministry program; planning, preparing, staffing and facilitating retreats and programs; and working collaboratively with campus ministers, teachers, pastoral associates and principals. Must excel in large group facilitation and communication. This position does require evening and weekend work and some travel. Our Lady of Hope Parish Family (St. Francis de Sales/Lebanon & St. Philip the Apostle/Morrow) is accepting applications for a part-time business manager (about 30 hours/week). The primary duties of the part-time business manager are financial reporting, IT Support, compensation management, and payroll processing. Some duties include providing at least monthly reports of the financial health of both locations, providing on-going IT support including desktop trouble shooting and coordinating with our outside IT support company for network and device support, and processing bi-weekly payroll and other duties as identified. The position is located primarily at St. Francis in Lebanon with an expectation of on-site support at St. Philip the Apostle one day each week. Expertise in Excel tools/formulas, supporting windows-based computers (including diagnosing problems and fixing them), and understanding of payroll systems (e.g. Paylocity) is required. Experience with the ParishSoft Accounting Systems is strongly preferred. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all areas. A college degree or five to ten (5-10) years business experience is preferred.
