St. Gabriel Parish (Glendale), a member of the Tri-County Catholics family of parishes, is seeking a full-time time assistant of music and liturgy.

Primary responsibilities are to play for the three weekend liturgies – Saturday at 5 p.m., Sunday at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. – and to conduct one weekly rehearsal with cantors and other musicians. Currently there is a small choir which sings for the Sunday 10 a.m. Mass. Plan and play funerals and weddings with the families.  Training and development of liturgical ministers both at St. Gabriel and St. Michael (Sharonville) parishes.

The candidate must have proficiency in organ, piano and voice, with knowledge of the Catholic liturgy and good pastoral skills. The successful candidate is a team person, working with the staff members of the parish, as well as others in our family of parishes. Salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.

St. Gabriel has a 3 manual 6-rank Wicks pipe organ with Walker digital stops equivalent to 36-40 ranks. It was built in 2003. Both the organ and an upright piano are in the choir loft.

The Director of Youth Evangelization is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, reporting to the Director of Evangelization and is a key member of the Evangelization Team. The director is responsible for all efforts of accompanying youth — grades 6–12  (and their families) — through the Process of Evangelization and Discipleship so that youth encounter Christ, are known, seen, and loved and become missionary disciples.
