Designs and manages print materials that develop and enhance relationships with the friends, relatives, and alumnae of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur by telling the stories of the mission, spirituality, and ministries of the Sisters, their associates, and co-workers.  Maintains the integrity of the brand of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.  Collaborates with the Development Director and Digital Media Coordinator to create, strategize, and execute an annual communication plan for the Ohio Province, including but not limited to the Development Department. Works closely with Associate Development Director to expand the Clean Water for Life Project. Collaborates with other Departments (Mission Integration, Vocations, Live The Good, and Justice Peace and Care for Creation) for their communication needs.

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is seeking the right candidate for the position of Associate Director for Youth Evangelization Programs. The Associate Director for Youth Evangelization Programs must be a missionary disciple passionate about introducing young people to Jesus Christ and His Church. This individual must have a regular prayer life centered on intimacy with Christ and be able to pray easily with others. He or she advances and extends the archbishop’s evangelization efforts through programs that minister directly to youth, with primary responsibility for coordinating all aspects of the Totus Tuus program. Key tasks will include general administrative responsibilities, budgeting, recruiting and training missionaries, encouraging and accompanying missionaries in their work, and retreat planning. The Associate Director works under the supervision of the Managing Director for Parish Evangelization as a member of the Parish Support Team in the Center for the New Evangelization (CNE).

The Associate Director collaborates closely and congenially with the entire staff of the CNE and the Department of Communication & Evangelization, as well as other archdiocesan offices. This full time, salaried position will serve as The Director of Liturgical Music and Worship for the Beacons of Light S4 family of parishes as principal musician, organist, and choir director. Majority of playing time will be at Our Lady of the Valley Parish for two weekend masses, funerals, weddings and holy days.  Director will work towards unifying the mass music for the S4 family and the current part time musicians.  Also, according to Beacons of Light Pastoral Planning Pathway, this person will create a vision for a Eucharist-centered parish family, form a Family Worship Commission and ensure that the commission fulfills the established vision.  The candidate should be a practicing Roman Catholic. St. James the Greater (White Oak-Cincinnati) is seeking candidates for the position of Coordinator of Religious Education.  Applicants must be practicing Catholics.

The CRE will be responsible for guiding the faith formation for our K-8  level children.  This includes working with the administrators and staff in our grade school (603 students), supporting the Family of parishes PSR program (Parish School of Religion for students in public schools), Sunday pre-school program and management of Summer Bible Camp.

Recommended qualifications: a Bachelor’s  degree in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, Theology, Religious Education, or commensurate experience.

St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish is seeking energetic candidates to apply for the position of Pastoral Associate for Communications.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position, under the supervision of the pastor.

The Pastoral Associate for Communications develops and implements an overall strategy for the communications of the parish in order to evangelize, educate and inform.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Develop and publish content across various communication channels: print, websites, social media, blog posts, feature stories, videos, infographics, etc.
  • Work cooperatively to support parish staff, commissions and ministries
  • Ensure St. Maximilian Kolbe Church identity, brand and mission is expressed consistently through all media channels
  • Creatively maintain and optimize website, SEO and overall digital footprint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field desired
  • An understanding of the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and social media marketing
  • Previous experience and knowledge in web design and content management systems
  • Working knowledge of email marketing and campaign software such as Constant Contact, Flocknote or MailChimp
  • Previous experience in graphic design and content creation (Adobe CC or equivalent design programs)
